Brooklyn Nets forward T.J. Warren is in line to finally make his team and season debut Friday against the Toronto Raptors after the Nets removed him from their latest injury report.

Warren has not played since appearing with the Indiana Pacers in the fourth game of the 2020-21 regular season on Dec. 29, 2020. He missed the remainder of that campaign, plus all of 2021-22, recovering from surgery that repaired a stress fracture in his left foot.

While with the Pacers, Warren put in some of the best performances of his career after the 2019-20 season relocated to an isolated bubble at Disney World due to COVID-19.

The 29-year-old averaged 31 points per game in six seeding games, including a 53-point outburst in the first game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He also shot 52.4% from distance on seven attempts per contest, helping Indiana secure a first-round series against the Miami Heat. However, the Pacers were swept in four games.

Brooklyn signed the former 14th overall pick to a one-year deal during free agency in July. Prior to the start of the season, Warren said his foot had fully healed, but he needed to complete more rehab work in order to be cleared.

Warren owns career averages of 15.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals to go with a 35.7% clip from deep.
