Miami Heat big man Udonis Haslem announced his return to his hometown team for a 20th season.

"Got one more in me for (my) pop. Got one more in me for the city. Got one more in me for the team," Haslem said during an appearance at his basketball camp Sunday.

Haslem, 42, is the NBA's oldest active player. The Florida product appeared in 13 games for the Heat last season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per contest.

After appearing in 62 regular-season games during the 2014-2015 campaign, Haslem has not played in more than 37 contests in seven seasons. The veteran only appeared in a single contest in 2020-2021, where he was ejected after an altercation with then Philadelphia 76ers center Dwight Howard.

Haslem went undrafted in 2002. He played one season in the French LNB Pro A league with Chalon-Sur-Saone, where he averaged 16.1 points and 9.4 rebounds. He then signed with the Heat and made the All-Rookie second team after averaging 7.3 points and 6.3 rebounds.

He was a key contributor to all three of Miami's titles in 2006, 2012, and 2013.

Haslem joins Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki among players to play at least 20 seasons with a single franchise, according to ESPN's Matt Williams.
