Iguodala: Rasheed Wallace would be 'better than Giannis' in today's NBA

Andre Iguodala believes Rasheed Wallace would rank among the NBA's best players if he played in the league today.

Iguodala praised Wallace during an appearance on "The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz" on Sunday, suggesting the four-time All-Star had the potential to be better than Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

"(During his career,) Rasheed Wallace probably could have been a top-five player in the league for a 10-year stretch," Iguodala said. "He just chose - 'Ah, I'll just do my thing over here.' He was shooting half-court shots left-handed and right-handed.

"If Rasheed Wallace played in modern-day basketball ... he'd be a top-five player in the league. He'd be better than Giannis, and I love Giannis."

Wallace played 16 NBA seasons and was a member of the Detroit Pistons' 2004 championship squad. He averaged 14.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and one steal per game across his career.

Antetokounmpo, who's entering his 10th season, is averaging 21.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.3 blocks per contest.
