All-American guard Jaden Ivey has been touted as the clear fourth-best prospect in Thursday's NBA draft. Yet Ivey says he hasn't been in contact with the Sacramento Kings, who own the No. 4 pick, per The Sacramento Bee's Jason Anderson.

"I’m kind of just letting this process handle itself," said Ivey, who adds he also hasn't worked out for Sacramento. "If I got drafted there, it wouldn't be the worst option."

Ivey said he's only worked out for the Orlando Magic, who possess the top selection, and the Detroit Pistons, who pick at No. 5.

Although the Kings apparently haven't reached out to Ivey, they do seem to be in contact with former Iowa forward Keegan Murray. Sacramento reportedly planned a dinner for Murray and star Kings players Domantas Sabonis and De'Aaron Fox, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The team recently traded 2020 lottery pick Tyrese Haliburton to the Indiana Pacers in order to clear up space for Fox and guard Davion Mitchell. Drafting Ivey on board would once again create a backcourt logjam.

Multiple teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies, have reportedly tried to acquire the Kings' pick with the possible intention of drafting Ivey, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.

However, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported earlier Monday that Sacramento is becoming "increasingly comfortable" remaining at No. 4.
