The Chicago Bulls selected Arizona wing Dalen Terry with the No. 18 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
After struggling as a freshman, Terry burst onto the scene in his second season with the top-seeded Wildcats, becoming one of the steadiest complementary pieces in college basketball. Terry did a little bit of everything on the floor - making shots at an extremely high clip, defending the opposing team's best player, and even occasionally running the show at point guard.
Despite taking just six shots per game, Terry was clearly vital to Arizona's success and showed what his game could look like at the next level. Terry's athleticism and length should allow him to guard up to four positions in the NBA, and his marksmanship off the catch from long distance will help him space the floor.
The added wrinkle of his playmaking skill is certainly worth noting, too. Developing that facet of his game could set him apart from other prototypical 3-and-D wings to play a role similar to Andre Iguodala, where he's trusted making plays for others in both the half court and in transition.
