G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson is signing a seven-figure, multi-year endorsement contract with Puma, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
This is believed to be the most lucrative deal ever signed by a non-draft-eligible player and the first signed by an Ignite player currently under contract. Henderson's deal could reportedly earn him eight figures if certain incentives are reached.
Henderson averaged 14 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 11 games with the Ignite last season. He's slated to play one more campaign with the professional development program before turning pro.
The 18-year-old is projected to be a top-three draft selection in 2023.
