Curry becomes the first recipient of the trophy after the league announced the award earlier this season. The trophy for the Eastern Conference finals MVP is named after Larry Bird.

The two-time regular season MVP played a dominant all-around game against Dallas, averaging 23.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists while shooting 44% from beyond the arc across the series.
The 34-year-old will look to carry his trophy-winning momentum into the final round of the postseason and claim his first Finals MVP after failing to pick up the honor during Golden State's three previous title runs.
