The Cleveland Cavaliers have upgraded center Jarrett Allen to questionable for Friday's must-win play-in clash versus the Atlanta Hawks.
The one-time All-Star considers himself "50-50" despite still experiencing significant pain in his finger, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Allen hasn't played since fracturing his finger against the Toronto Raptors on March 6. He was having a breakout campaign before the injury, averaging 16.1 points, 10.8 boards, and 1.3 blocks over 56 appearances.
The 23-year-old has been an integral part of the Cavs' fifth-ranked defense. Opponents are shooting just 48.6% against the big man on attempts within six feet of the basket. That's the best mark among players who've defended at least 150 field goals from that range.
