Serbian forward Nikola Jovic has submitted paperwork to become eligible for the 2022 NBA Draft, Jovic's agent told ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Jovic, 18, ranks as the 23rd-best prospect in the class of 2022. He averaged 11.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists playing for Mega Mozzart in the Adriatic League this season and also starred in a game with the Serbian men's national team during FIBA World Cup qualifying action in February.
Jovic (no relation to Denver Nuggets superstar and fellow Serbian Nikola Jokic) hopes to become the first Serbian lottery pick since Darko Milicic in 2003.
The draft takes place at Barclays Center on June 23.
