Goran Dragic is about to become the NBA's most sought-after prize.
The veteran point guard is expected to finalize a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs within the next week, and at least six teams are already chasing his services, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Suitors include the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks, Wojnarowski reports.
San Antonio acquired Dragic and a protected first-round pick from the Toronto Raptors on Thursday in exchange for Thaddeus Young, Drew Eubanks, and a second-round selection.
The 35-year-old played just five games for the Raptors early this season before leaving the team to tend to a personal matter. He's been staying in shape in South Florida and was spotted working out with some of his former Miami Heat teammates while away from the Raptors.
If he's in game shape, Dragic could help any number of championship contenders as a depth guard with playoff experience off the bench. He played a key role in the Heat's run to the 2020 NBA Finals, averaging over 19 points per game in the postseason bubble.
