The Houston Rockets are suspending Christian Wood and Kevin Porter Jr. for Monday's matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim MacMahon.

Both players are apparently being disciplined for their "poor behavior" during Saturday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Porter reportedly had a heated exchange with Rockets assistant coach John Lucas at halftime and subsequently left the arena.

Lucas also called out Wood for his effort level during Saturday's affair, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Kelly Iko. The Rockets benched the big man during the first half for missing a mandatory COVID-19 testing window and he refused to check into the game in the second half, Charania and Iko add.

Houston acquired Porter from the Cleveland Cavaliers last January. The former first-round pick has struggled this season, averaging 12.8 points on just 36.6% shooting over 22 appearances.

The Rockets obtained Wood in November 2020 as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Detroit Pistons. The UNLV product is currently Houston's leading scorer and rebounder.
