Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard had to be separated by Los Angeles Lakers teammates following a timeout during the second quarter of Friday's 115-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Cue the jokes relating to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team. Davis was selected, while Howard didn't make the cut.

"We're good," said Howard following the game. "We're grown men, things happen. We squashed it."

Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the incident.

Making matters worse, Lakers guard Rajon Rondo and a courtside fan got into a scuffle toward the end of the third quarter, resulting in the spectator's ejection from Staples Center.

The defeat marks the first time in Lakers history that the team has started a season 0-2 with both losses coming at home, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
