Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will miss time at the start of training camp this week due to health and safety protocols, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
NBA training camps start Sept. 28, while the Suns' preseason schedule opens on Oct. 4 against the Sacramento Kings. It's unclear whether Booker will be able to return by that time.
The 24-year-old is coming off a busy summer that included an NBA Finals appearance and gold medal with Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics.
Booker averaged 25.6 points, 4.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 48.4% from the floor and 34% from distance in 67 games last season.
