Enes Kanter is heading back to Beantown, he confirmed on social media Wednesday.

The free-agent center agreed to a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania. He'll earn the veteran's minimum, according to Spotrac's Keith Smith.

Kanter spent the 2019-20 season with Boston before being dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers last November as part of a three-team trade. He averaged 11.2 points and 11 boards over 72 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

The Turkish big man has been one of the Association's top offensive rebounders since entering the league a decade ago. Kanter has led the NBA in offensive-rebound percentage twice, and he's placed in the top three on four other occasions.
