Curry agrees to 4-year, $215M extension with Warriors

Golden State Warriors icon Stephen Curry is the first player in NBA history to sign a second $200-million contract.

Curry agreed to a four-year, $215-million extension with the Warriors on Tuesday, the two-time MVP's agent told ES PN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Curry's new deal keeps him in Golden State through the 2025-26 season.

Curry is coming off another stellar campaign for the Warriors, capturing the second scoring title of his career while earning his fourth first-team All-NBA nod.

The 33-year-old averaged 32 points across 63 outings, the highest mark of his career, and became the first player in NBA history to average 35 points and shoot 50-40-90 in a single month (April). Curry also nailed 96 3-pointers in April, obliterating James Harden's record (82) for most made treys in a calendar month.

The seven-time All-Star is set to enter his 13th NBA season - all with the Warriors - with Golden State looking to bounce back following an underwhelming campaign.
