Free-agent forward Jeff Green and the Denver Nuggets reached an agreement on a two-year, $10-million contract, his agent, Jason Glushon, told ESPN's Malika Andrews.

The second year on Green's deal contains a player option, Andrews adds.

Green spent last season with the Brooklyn Nets and registered averages of 11 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 41.2% from beyond the arc. Initially expected to come off the bench, Green started 38 of 68 games as Brooklyn juggled injuries to Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.

The Nuggets will mark the 11th different franchise in Green's career. The 34-year-old made his NBA debut in 2007-08 with the Seattle SuperSonics.
