The G League Ignite are finalizing a deal to hire Jason Hart as their next head coach, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Hart has spent the past eight years as an assistant at USC under Andy Enfield. He replaces five-time NBA champ Brian Shaw, who's reportedly joining the Los Angeles Clippers' coaching staff.
The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Hart 49th overall in 2000. He played nine seasons in the Association for nine different teams.
The Ignite finished 8-7 in their inaugural campaign but were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the G League playoffs. Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga headlined last season's squad and are expected to be taken early in Thursday's draft.
