Young misses Game 5, Capela starts
Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young missed Thursday's 123-112 Game 5 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The All-Star guard also sat out the previous contest after suffering a deep bone bruise in his right foot during Game 3.
Veteran Lou Williams started in Young's place for the second straight game.
"He just didn't feel comfortable enough to go tonight," Hawks head coach Nate McMillan told reporters pregame, according to Ben Golliver of The Washington Post.
However, Hawks center Clint Capela was in the starting five despite taking an elbow to the eye during Game 4.
Both players have been instrumental in guiding Atlanta to its first Eastern Conference finals since 2015.
Young is averaging 29.8 points, 9.5 assists, and 1.3 steals over 15 playoff appearances. Capela is averaging 10.1 points, 11.5 boards, and one block during the postseason.
