Report: Billups drawing interest from Wizards, Magic, Pelicans
Chauncey Billups continues to be linked with myriad head coaching jobs.
The Los Angeles Clippers assistant is drawing interest from the Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic, and New Orleans Pelicans, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Billups is also a prominent candidate for the Portland Trail Blazers' vacancy, Wojnarowski reports, citing sources. The Boston Celtics, meanwhile, are reportedly seeking a second interview with the former Finals MVP.
The 44-year-old was apparently in the running for the Indiana Pacers' head coaching gig last offseason before joining Tyronn Lue's Clippers staff.
Billups played 17 years in the Association, appearing with seven clubs. He earned five All-Star selections and was a member of the Detroit Pistons' 2004 title-winning team.
