Kyrie exits Game 4 after spraining ankle
Nets head coach Steve Nash said postgame that X-rays were negative and that Irving will undergo further testing and treatment, according to ESPN's Malika Andrews.
"I have no idea what's going to happen with Ky in the coming days," Nash said, per Forbes' Adam Zagoria. "We'll cross our fingers and hope that it's better than missing the next game."
Irving was in a walking boot and using crutches following Sunday's matchup, Rachel Nichols of ESPN reports.
The All-Star had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 17 minutes of play. He entered Sunday's contest averaging 23 points, five boards, five assists, and 1.7 steals through the first three games of the second round.
Brooklyn is already without James Harden, who exited in the opening minute of Game 1 after experiencing hamstring tightness.
The series is now tied 2-2 with Game 5 scheduled for Tuesday evening at Barclays Center.
