The Los Angeles Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard as they continue their pursuit of a first-ever Western Conference finals berth.

The Clippers announced Wednesday that the two-time Finals MVP has been ruled out for Game 5 against the Utah Jazz due to a right knee sprain and there is no timetable for his return, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Los Angeles fears Leonard sustained an ACL injury, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Leonard told his teammates Tuesday to prepare for his absence, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

The five-time All-Star appeared to tweak his right knee as he drove the ball upcourt during the fourth quarter of Game 4. He initially remained in the contest but exited less than a minute later.

Leonard averaged 32.5 points, 9.5 boards, four assists, and two steals over the past two games to help the Clippers even the series 2-2.
