The NBA wants teams prepared for potential ramifications from the verdict of Derek Chauvin's trial for the death of George Floyd, including the possibility of postponed games, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The league office is willing to call off one or two night's worth of games in anticipation of what may transpire after the court's decision.
Final arguments in the case against Chauvin are expected to take place Monday.

Most recently, Minnesota's NBA, MLB, and NHL teams called off their respective matchups last Monday after another unarmed Black man, Daunte Wright, was shot by police during a traffics stop in the Minneapolis area.
