Raptors' Anunoby, VanVleet among 4 more players out vs. Pistons
The Toronto Raptors will be shorthanded for Wednesday's matchup versus the Detroit Pistons.
OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn, Patrick McCaw, and Fred VanVleet are sidelined due to the NBA's health and safety protocols, the team announced Tuesday.
Rookie guard Jalen Harris and newly-signed big man Donta Hall were called up from the Raptors 905.
All-star forward Pascal Siakam and six Raptors coaches - including Nick Nurse - are already out due to protocols.
Wednesday's clash was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed as Toronto didn't have the minimum number of players available.
Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said he expects the sidelined players to miss Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics as well, according to The Athletic's Eric Koreen.
