Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will miss a minimum of two games due to a hamstring strain, the team announced Sunday.

Durant will be sidelined for Monday's contest against the Sacramento Kings and Tuesday's encounter versus the Phoenix Suns. The Nets will then travel to Los Angeles to face the Lakers and Clippers on Thursday and Sunday, respectively.

Durant returned to take on the Warriors in San Francisco on Saturday after missing three games under the league's health and safety protocols, marking his first trip back to the Bay Area since leaving the franchise as a free agent in 2019.

It's not immediately clear when Durant suffered the hamstring strain, but Brooklyn says the ailment was diagnosed following an evaluation Sunday. The 32-year-old played over 33 minutes against Golden State, finishing with 20 points (8-of-19 shooting), six assists, five rebounds, and two blocks.
