Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dante Exum is expected to miss one-to-two months of action after suffering a strained right calf during Monday's contest against the Orlando Magic, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Exum has started in three of Cleveland's six games this season. He's averaging 3.8 points, 2.8 boards, and 2.2 assists per game.
The Cavs acquired Exum from the Utah Jazz in December 2019.
The 25-year-old has struggled to stay healthy since being selected fifth overall by Utah in 2014.
The Cavs backcourt has been hit hard by injuries. Darius Garland, Dylan Windler, and Matthew Dellavedova are all currently sidelined.
