Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin left Tuesday's contest against the Golden State Warriors in the second quarter and did not return after entering the league's concussion protocol, according to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.
The Pistons didn't specify why Griffin entered the protocol. However, the big man looked dazed and was left bleeding after taking an inadvertent elbow from Warriors center James Wiseman minutes earlier.

Griffin last checked out of the game with 2:27 remaining in the second quarter. He didn't reappear for the second half, and the Pistons announced he was done for the night shortly thereafter.
The 31-year-old finished with eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 17 minutes.
He averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, three assists, and 1.5 steals in Detroit's first two games of the season before missing Monday's affair against the Atlanta Hawks.
