The NBA granted the Orlando Magic a $3.6-million disabled player exception for the season-ending injury to forward Jonathan Isaac, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Orlando can now sign a replacement player for half of Isaac's 2020-21 salary without it counting toward the salary cap.
Isaac suffered a torn ACL during the seeding games in August. He averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 boards, 2.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals over 34 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
