Report: Carter-Williams returning to Magic on new deal

The Orlando Magic have come to terms on a new contract with free-agent guard Michael Carter-Williams, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The 29-year-old combo guard came off the bench for all 45 of his appearances in 2019-20. Averaging 18.5 minutes per outing, Carter-Williams tallied 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 steals for the Magic last year.
Overall, Carter-Williams has averaged 10.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in seven years. He was named the Rookie of the Year for 2013-14 as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.
