Derrick Favors is heading back to the Utah Jazz.

The center has agreed to a three-year, $27-million contract with Utah, sources told The Athletic's Tony Jones. The third season on Favors' contract is reportedly a player option.

The 29-year-old averaged nine points and 9.8 boards last season with the New Orleans Pelicans. He also ranked 15th in the Association with 163 offensive rebounds during the 2019-20 campaign.

New Orleans acquired Favors from the Jazz in July 2019. He spent the previous nine seasons in Utah after the then-New Jersey Nets dealt him during his rookie season in 2010-11.

Favors ranks fourth on the Jazz's all-time rebounding list. Utah also re-signed Jordan Clarkson to a four-year, $52-million contract.
