The Atlanta Hawks are expected to be major players when free agency opens.

Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Joe Harris is attracting interest from several teams, including the Hawks, sources told ESPN's Malika Andrews.

The 6-foot-6 wing has developed into one of the NBA's elite outside threats since joining the Nets in 2016-17. He shot an Association-leading 47.4% from deep two seasons ago and has connected on 43% of his triples overall during his time in Brooklyn.

Re-signing Harris would likely put the Nets deep into the luxury tax, though general manager Sean Marks says keeping the former second-round pick is one of the team's top priorities this offseason.

"We hope that we can continue to build with Joe," Marks said Friday. "Joe is an intricate piece to the program here, not only what he does and what everybody sees on the court, but it's off the court as well. He's seen this program develop and developed alongside this program. It would certainly be great to have him continue this ride with us."

Harris averaged a career-high 14.5 points on 48.6% shooting last season.

Atlanta has $44 million in cap space available and has been linked with numerous players, including forwards Gordon Hayward and Danilo Gallinari, as well as veteran point guard Rajon Rondo.
