Zion Williamson was -2000 to be the No. 1 overall pick in last year's NBA draft, and he did indeed go first overall. This year's race is infinitely closer.

If you're planning to get some action down on Wednesday's 2020 NBA Draft, here are some of the betting markets available.

Odds to go No. 1 overall

Tyrese Haliburton +30000
Isaac Okoro +50000
Killian Hayes +50000
Aaron Nesmith +75000
RJ Hampton +75000
Cole Anthony +75000

Anthony Edwards trending up

Edwards is considered one of the three best prospects in the field. He, LaMelo Ball, and James Wiseman had been seemingly interchangeable early in the draft process. But after Ball rocketed up the oddsboard to become the betting favorite early this week, Edwards has overtaken him.

If Edwards does become the first player to hear his name called, the 19-year-old Georgia product will join a Timberwolves squad that was last in the league with a 23-39-2 record against the spread in 2019-20.

Draft spot props open up the entire field. Think a player will go earlier than his designated draft spot? Go under the number. Have a feeling a player is due to drop? Take the over.

Here's a pair of props we like.

Best bets

LaMelo Ball under 2.5 (-145)

If you're not comfortable taking Ball to go No. 1 overall, there's some cushion here, though you'll have to pay a little more juice at -145. Simply put, it seems highly likely he'll be taken with one of the first two picks.

Ball is a polarizing prospect. He's 6-foot-8 with handles and a knack for the big play. He'll be the straw that stirs the drink for an NBA franchise, but he's got some competition in Edwards. If the latter goes first overall, Ball is an amazing consolation prize for the team selecting second, whether it's the Warriors or another club that moves up in a trade.

Tyrese Haliburton under 7.5 (-185)

This is a solid look on Haliburton. The Iowa State product isn't considered a top-tier prospect by any means, but falling into the Hawks' laps at No. 6 seems the most logical outcome for him.

Atlanta recently attempted to land veteran guard Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans before New Orleans shipped him to the Bucks. If that was an indication of what the team's brass is looking to add to the roster this offseason, Haliburton fits the mold.
