The Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, and several other contending teams are interested in signing Los Angeles Lakers guard Avery Bradley if he does not exercise his player option for next season, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Bradley possesses a $5-million option for the 2020-21 campaign, according to Spotrac. However, if the 29-year-old elects to become a free agent this offseason, he can attempt to secure a long-term contract with more guaranteed money.

The 10-year veteran may emerge as a highly sought-after target on the open market thanks to his defensive qualities. He averaged 8.6 points on 36.4% 3-point shooting in one year with the Lakers but cemented a starting role partly due to his ability to frustrate opponents on the perimeter.

Bradley did not join the Lakers for the NBA's Orlando restart. The two-time All-Defensive guard opted out of the bubble portion of the season to spend time with his family. Despite his absence, Los Angeles went on to win its first NBA title in a decade.
