The NBA and National Basketball Players Association once again agreed to extend Friday's deadline for either party to trigger the termination of the collective bargaining agreement, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.
Monday is reportedly the new opt-out deadline.
The players' side recently approved the NBA's proposal for a 72-game season starting Dec. 22, but the league and the union must still agree on a number of amendments to the CBA ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, owing to the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
