All-Star Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo is doubtful to play against the Los Angeles Lakers in Friday's Game 2 of The Finals after an MRI revealed a neck strain.

Heat guard Goran Dragic is also doubtful after suffering a torn plantar fascia in his left foot in Game 1. He is "fighting" to play in Game 2, a source told The Associated Press' Tim Reynolds.

Adebayo left Game 1 after colliding with Dwight Howard in the third quarter and didn't return. He underwent an X-ray, which returned negative. The Heat initially classified his injury as a left shoulder strain.

Miami was decimated by injuries as it lost Game 1 in a 116-98 blowout. Jimmy Butler was also in visible pain after rolling his ankle late in the second quarter but remained in the game. The 31-year-old said Thursday he was "a little bit sore" but expects to play Friday, according to ESPN's Malika Andrews.
