Brooklyn Nets swingman Joe Harris has left the NBA's Orlando campus due to a non-medical personal matter, the team announced.

The Nets did not provide further details regarding Harris' sudden departure, though they will give an update on his potential return "as information becomes available."

Brooklyn trails the Toronto Raptors 2-0 in its first-round playoff series after Wednesday's 104-99 loss. Harris played 39 minutes in Game 2, registering 14 points and 15 rebounds to follow Monday's strong Game 1 performance where he recorded 19 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

The Nets need to stretch the series against the Raptors to at least six games for Harris to appear in again this postseason, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The league will likely require the 28-year-old to quarantine from four to 10 days upon his return to Orlando. Game 6, if necessary, is scheduled for Aug. 27, while Game 7 is tentatively set for Aug. 29.

Brooklyn is already without several key players in the playoffs, including Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, who did not join the team in the bubble due to their respective injuries. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie and center DeAndre Jordan also did not take part in the season restart after testing positive for COVID-19 earlier this summer.

Veteran guard Jamal Crawford, who was signed as a substitute player shortly prior to the seeding games, is currently sidelined with a hamstring strain.
