LeBron James' voting rights group, More Than A Vote, announced Friday that it is raising money to help pay off the fees and fines of Florida residents with past felony convictions so they can vote in November's presidential election.

The group plans to donate $100,000 to the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, an organization that focuses on restoring voting rights in the state.

More Than A Vote is also partnering with Magnolia Pictures and Participant on an online screening of "John Lewis: Good Trouble," a documentary about the life of civil rights activist and longtime Congressman John Lewis, who passed away July 17.

James launched More Than A Vote in June with several other Black athletes and entertainers, including Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, four-time WNBA All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith, and comedian Kevin Hart.
