Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will be working with Charles Barkley on the new TNT series "The Arena," but that doesn't mean he's ready to put their beef in the past.
Ahead of the show's premiere Monday, Green made it clear his feelings about Barkley haven't changed.
"He's not a friend of mine," Green told Mark Medina of USA TODAY Sports. "He's not someone whose opinion matters to me. So, there is not a need to hash anything out."
The feud between Green and Barkley dates back several years. Green has suggested that Barkley's frequent criticism of him stems from jealousy.
"He's kind of known to put out some crazy statements. I don't know if they are his true beliefs or whatever, or he's just saying stuff for reactions," Green said. "We'll see. But I've never worked with him, so I can't really say what it's going to be like."
Green and Barkley will be part of a panel on "The Arena" that includes former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and host Cari Champion. The series will cover topics including the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter, and systemic racial injustices.
