Malcolm Brogdon sported a mask during the Indiana Pacers' practice Thursday and says he will continue to do so until the season finally resumes.

"It's something I've been doing for my conditioning and just to be considerate of the guys just in case guys were worried about me previously contracting the virus," he said, according to Eric Woodyard of ESPN. "Just wearing it to help be cautious and make guys feel comfortable."

The Pacers guard revealed in late June he had recently tested positive for COVID-19. He has since joined the team in Orlando and said Thursday he only experienced mild symptoms while battling the illness, including a fever and headache.

Pacers head coach Nate McMillan commended the 27-year-old for using a mask to alleviate any potential concerns despite being under no obligation to do so.

"He is out there working hard. He's playing with a mask on, and that's pretty much Malcolm's doing," McMillan said. "Just to give the team confidence that he's not out there spreading anything. He's not required to play with a mask, but he's been working that way the last two days. We really haven't even thought about it.

"All the testing that guys are going through and the testing that Malcolm has to go through to even get on the floor, we feel safe when he's out there practicing with us."
