Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo intends to suit up during the NBA's restart if he continues to progress through his rehab.

"I feel like if my body keeps trending and the situation keeps trending up, there's a strong possibility that I might play. So, I'm definitely trying to," Oladipo said Wednesday, according to The Athletic's Joe Vardon.

Oladipo was planning on sitting out the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign to focus on his long-term health. The 28-year-old played in just 13 games this season after missing an entire year due to a torn quad tendon.

But after going through team practices in Orlando, Oladipo is pleased with his body's response.

"I don't think you guys realize how much practicing and getting up and down is a part of my rehab," Oladipo said. "I am going to keep stressing that. It's a part of the rehab.

"At the end of the day, back then, I made a decision that I felt was best for my career. Is that wrong for me to do? I don't think so," he added. "Coming here, reassessing it, being able to play against these guys at a high level, go out here, see where my knee is at, see how it's progressing, with a heavy load, and then making a decision, and saying there's a possibility that I might play, I'm going to try it out. Is that wrong of me to do?"

Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 boards, and three assists during his limited playing time this season. He was an All-Star in each of his first two campaigns with the Pacers.
