Houston is the latest city under consideration for NBA games should the 2019-20 season resume, sources told The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor.
The Houston Rockets play in the city's downtown core at the Toyota Center while the neighboring George R. Brown Convention Center features an exhibit hall that's been converted into a sports and concert venue in the past.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Monday that professional sports will be allowed to reopen in the state May 31.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver has reportedly tabbed Orlando and Las Vegas as potential locations for Eastern and Western Conference play, respectively, if the NBA returns this season.
