Saturday's stream took us back to this day in 1980, when a rookie Magic Johnson clinched the NBA championship for the Los Angeles Lakers with 42 points in Game 6 of The Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers. Johnson's performance was especially notable because he replaced center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the starting lineup despite playing predominantly as a guard the entire year.
