All Los Angeles Lakers players are now symptom-free of COVID-19 after completing their 14-day self-isolation period, the team announced Tuesday, via Bill Oram of The Athletic.
"The team will continue to follow the health and safety guidelines set by government officials, the Lakers, and the NBA," the organization said in its statement.
The Lakers revealed on March 19 that two players on the roster had tested positive for COVID-19. Their identities have been kept confidential.
While the players have completed their self-isolation, those who've stayed in California during the NBA's hiatus must remain within their homes. California Gov. Gavin Newsom has ordered all residents in the state to do so - with certain exceptions - until further notice.
