Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns will be reassessed in two weeks after evaluations revealed he suffered a left wrist fracture, the team announced Friday.

Towns was held out of the club's final game before the All-Star break on Feb. 12, and he didn't participate in Wednesday's practice after head coach Ryan Saunders ruled him out indefinitely. It's unknown when exactly the star big man first suffered the wrist injury.

The 24-year-old is averaging a career-high 26.5 points along with 10.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 35 games this season.

After missing only five total games across four NBA seasons, the Kentucky product has already missed 18 contests in 2019-20.
