X-rays on RJ Barrett's sprained right ankle came back negative, and he will be re-evaluated in one week, the New York Knicks announced Friday.

The rookie swingman suffered the injury while driving to the hoop during the third quarter of Thursday's game versus the Phoenix Suns.

The third overall pick of the 2019 draft has gotten off to an uneven start this season.

The 19-year-old is averaging 14.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and one steal per game, but he's shooting just 39.3% from the field overall, 32.9% on 3-pointers, and 60.6% on free throws. Barrett's also has dished out nearly as many turnovers (90) as assists (101).
