Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with a left thigh contusion, the team announced Monday.

Despite the lengthy timeline, Middleton avoided serious damage to his leg, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Middleton appeared to get injured during Sunday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 28-year-old left that game in the third quarter and did not return after incidentally bumping into Terrance Ferguson's knee while attempting to dribble around him. The Bucks announced the injury was a thigh contusion.

Middleton is averaging 18.5 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 39.3% from distance in 10 games this season for Milwaukee.
