The hits keep coming for USA Basketball.

New York Knicks forward Julius Randle has withdrawn from Team USA's training camp due to a family issue, the U.S. announced on Saturday.

He's the second American player in as many days to pull out after Los Angeles Clippers guard Landry Shamet did so too, reportedly citing a minor muscle contusion in his lower leg.

Randle is coming off a career-best season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 21.4 points, 8.7 boards, and 3.1 assists per contest across 73 appearances. He signed a three-year, $62.1-million contract with the Knicks this offseason.

The former seventh overall pick last represented the United States during the 2012 FIBA U18 Americas Championship.

All participating players from the national and select team squads will report to Las Vegas on Sunday.
