Lance Stephenson is leaving the NBA.
The free-agent guard reached a one-year, $4-million agreement with Liaoning of the Chinese Basketball Association, league sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
Stephenson averaged 7.2 points, 3.2 boards, and 2.1 assists per contest across 68 appearances last season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 28-year-old was perhaps at his best when he was a member of the Indiana Pacers, serving as a key cog in their runs to the Eastern Conference finals in 2013 and 2014.
Stephenson has also been known for his on-court antics, from infamously blowing in LeBron James' ear during a playoff game to strumming an air guitar after a made shot during a regular-season matchup this past campaign.
Over the course of his nine-year NBA career, Stephenson averaged 8.6 points, 4.2 boards, and 2.9 assists per contest.
