Knicks, Bullock sign reworked 2-year deal after unforeseen health issues

The New York Knicks signed Reggie Bullock to a new two-year deal after reworking their previous arrangement due to unforeseen health issues, Bullock's agent, David Bauman, confirmed to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Bullock and the Knicks had previously agreed on a two-year, $21-million pact. His new contract is worth less than the $4.7-million exception that New York had available, according to Ian Begley of SNY.

It's unclear what health concerns caused the club to modify the agreement, though Bullock missed eight games down the stretch last season due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

The 28-year-old swingman is coming off his sixth season in the league. He averaged 11.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and two assists in 2018-19 while splitting time between the Detroit Pistons and Lakers.
