With Andre Iguodala's stay with the Memphis Grizzlies appearing to be a short one, at least one contender seems to be eyeing a bold move to acquire the veteran's services.

The Denver Nuggets are said to be interested in making an "ambitious play" for Iguodala if he's able to part ways with the Grizzlies, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.

However, Memphis apparently doesn't intend on buying out Iguodala and is reportedly pursuing a trade partner for the 35-year-old. The Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks have all been linked with him.

Iguodala averaged 13 points, 5.4 assists, and 5.3 boards per contest across 80 appearances during his lone year with the Nuggets in the 2012-13 season. He signed with the Golden State Warriors the following year and played a key role in the club's three NBA title runs.

The Warriors reportedly traded the 2015 Finals MVP to the Grizzlies in a salary-shedding move to accommodate the contracts of All-Star guards Klay Thompson and D'Angelo Russell.

Iguodala averaged career lows in points (5.7) and minutes played (13.2) during the regular season in 2018-19 but performed better in the playoffs, posting 9.8 points, 4.3 boards, and four assists per contest.
