Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant hasn't decided if he will meet with teams when free agency begins Sunday, but conversations will occur in New York City if he chooses to talk to interested parties, sources told The Athletic's David Aldridge.
Durant remains among the most valuable free-agent acquisitions despite suffering an Achilles tear in the NBA Finals that will likely force him to miss the majority - if not the entire - 2019-20 season.
The setback has opened up Durant's availability after reports suggested all season he would ink a deal with the New York Knicks.
Durant remains one of the likely candidates to land a max contract regardless of where he signs. The two-time NBA Finals MVP has reportedly declined his $31.5-million player option with the Warriors to become an unrestricted free agent.
The Brooklyn Nets and L.A. Clippers are also expected to be in play for Durant.
